We recommend booking 3 to 5 days in advance for local shifting within your city, and 7 to 10 days in advance for intercity long-distance relocation across India to lock optimal weekend dates and container truck availability.

Shifting charges depend on four core factors: 1) Total CFT volume of goods, 2) Transit distance in kilometers, 3) Floor elevation (stairs vs elevator availability), and 4) Quantity of bubble wrap, foam, and corrugated boxes required.

The 5% token advance locks your slot on our online booking app, generates your official PDF booking voucher, and reserves a dedicated container truck and packing team. The remaining 95% balance is paid on pickup/delivery.

No! SB Packers and Movers follows a strict transparent pricing policy. Your final quotation calculated in our online booking app includes packing material, labor charges, vehicle fare, and toll taxes with zero hidden fees.

2. Packing Materials & Goods Safety FAQs

We use 3-layer heavy-duty packing: High-density air bubble wrap, 5-ply corrugated cardboard sheets, foam corner guards, and waterproof stretch film. Wooden crates are also available for glass dining tables and large LED TVs.

Yes! Our trained crew includes skilled carpenters who dismantle modular beds, wardrobes, conference tables, and sofa sets prior to packing, and reassemble them at your new destination.

Yes! We provide heavy-duty corrugated cartons and wardrobe boxes. Kitchen crockery items are individually wrapped in newsprint/bubble wrap before placing in sturdy boxes.

3. AC & Appliance Installation FAQs

Yes, certified HVAC technicians handle Split and Window AC removal, gas pump-down locking, copper pipe extension, outdoor wall bracket mounting, and leak testing at your new address.

Yes! You can select installation add-ons during online booking for LED TV wall mounting (up to 85 inches), Geyser plumbing installation, and Water Purifier (RO) wall mounting.

4. Car & Bike Transport FAQs

Cars are transported in enclosed double-deck car carrier trucks with 4-point wheel stoppers and a Zero-Drive odometer policy. Bikes undergo 3-layer bubble wrapping and hydraulic ramp loading with safety ratchet straps.

You need to provide a copy of: 1) Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC), 2) Valid Insurance Policy, 3) Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate, and 4) Owner ID Proof (Aadhaar/PAN).

5. Transit Insurance & Claims FAQs

Yes! We offer 100% Transit Insurance policies covering accidental damage, vehicle overturn, fire, theft, or natural calamities during long-distance intercity transit.

6. Household Warehousing & Storage FAQs

Our storage facilities feature 24/7 CCTV surveillance, security guards, fire safety sprinklers, monthly pest control, and elevated wooden pallets to keep your household goods completely safe from moisture and dust.

The minimum storage period is 15 days. Monthly storage rates start at Rs. 1,500/month for partial household goods and Rs. 3,500/month for a complete 2 BHK household setup.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items FAQs

For safety and legal compliance, we cannot pack or transport: LPG Gas Cylinders, Kerosene/Petrol/Diesel, Flammable Fireworks/Explosives, Corrosive Acids, Perishable Foods, Live Pets, Plants, Physical Cash, Gold/Jewelry, and Original Property Documents.
